It goes without saying that when two people are on a date they want to have fun and enjoy themselves. You are no different from the rest in this. But other than words did you ever stop to think about body language? The first conversation is always by body language. A confident person will be relaxed, smile, lean in while talking to you and be very animated in whatever he is trying to say to you. But a person who is tense will show it in all his postures. He might sit back, cross his legs or arms, eyes darting around the room and barely a smile on the face. So convey your confidence through your body language.
Next check out how vocal you are. It’s your verbal skills that are going to do the first job of creating an impression. How you carry on a conversation and how your partner responds to you are all determined by your verbal skills. This is one way of increasing your chances of getting more dates. So how do you go about finding interesting topic to create an interesting discussion or conversation?
A conversation is governed by two parts i.e. asking questions and answering questions. The right questions gain the right atmosphere and ensure that your partner too enjoys answering them.
The wrong questions and you can say good night to the date before it even began. Evasive answers or even not so honest answers will end the date faster than you can ask the next question.
Questions carry some power in them because if you ask anyone a direct question then the other feels obligated to answer you. There are some interesting conversation openers you can use like ask about the person hobbies. If they have spare time then how do they use it? Do they have that special place they want to travel to?
These types of questions have a tendency of bringing up past experience which can tell you a lot about the person. These are just some ideas of course the sky is the limit for topics. So think up of what you would like to know and then formulate some questions which don’t make you seem like the CBI out to get information and watch you and your date have a really enjoyable time with the good chance of there being more dates in the future.
